Equations
Use x as the variable. Other letters (like a, b) become sliders. Trig is in radians. You can write 2x, x^2, sqrt(x), sin(x), ln(x), |x|, pi.
Paste some data on the left, or try the example.

How it works & questions
How it works
- 1
Paste your results
From Excel or typed in: x, y and optional error bars.
- 2
Choose a fit
Straight line, through the origin, quadratic, exponential, power or log.
- 3
Download the graph
Get R², the gradient with its uncertainty, and a PNG or SVG ready for your report.
Questions
How is the uncertainty in the gradient found?
From the spread of your points about the best fit line (the standard error), or weighted by your error bars if you choose.
Can I plot an equation instead?
Yes. Switch to Plot equations. Extra letters like a and b become sliders.
Can I add a theory line?
Yes. Type it in, for example y = 9.81x, to compare with your results.
