    How it works

    1. 1

      Type LaTeX

      Use the symbol buttons for fractions, Greek letters, integrals and matrices. Tab jumps to the next empty slot.

    2. 2

      See it as you go

      The equation updates as you type, and mistakes are explained in plain words.

    3. 3

      Use it anywhere

      Copy it into Word as a real equation, save a PNG, or download a .tex file.

    Questions

    Can I paste the equation into Word?

    Yes. “Copy for Word” copies it as a real Word equation you can still edit. It also works in OneNote.

    Do I need to know LaTeX?

    No. The symbol buttons insert the LaTeX for you, and there's a cheat sheet on the page.

    Can I write chemistry equations?

    Yes. Use \ce{...}, for example \ce{2H2 + O2 -> 2H2O}.

    Can I work on it with others?

    Yes. Start a live room and send the link to edit the equations together.
