Questions
Which t-test should I use?
Two separate groups of people or samples: two-sample. The same people measured twice (before and after): paired. One group against a known value: one-sample.
Are the answers the same as SPSS or Excel?
Yes. The results are checked against SciPy, the standard Python statistics library. Quartiles use the same method as Excel's QUARTILE.INC.
What does significant mean?
That a result this big would be unlikely if there were really no effect (p below 0.05 by default). It doesn't say the effect is large, which is what the effect size is for.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Everything is worked out in your browser.
