Answer
Some parts of this one don't follow a standard method, so not every step can be shown. The answer is still right.

Worked it out yourself? Type your answer. It's marked right even if it's written differently.
💾 Everything is worked out on your own device, so nothing is sent anywhere. The maths engine (about 15 MB) downloads the first time, then it's quick.
How it works & questions
How it works
- 1
Type the maths
Use the keys for powers, roots, π, e and trig, and see it written out as you type.
- 2
Integrate or differentiate
Add limits for a definite integral. Each step names the rule it uses, like substitution or the chain rule.
- 3
Check your own working
Type your answer and it's marked right even if it's written differently. Copy the result as LaTeX for your report.
Questions
Is it really free with steps?
Yes. Every step is shown, with no sign-up and no limit.
Why does it take a moment the first time?
The maths engine (Python and SymPy) runs on your own device. It downloads once, about 15 MB, and is quick after that.
Why are some steps missing?
A few integrals, like the one for e^(-x²), have no answer in everyday functions. You still get the answer, written with a special function such as erf.
Does log mean ln?
Yes. log(x) and ln(x) both mean the natural log here.
